Twenty-five years in, the company he built supplies its own N-type TopCon modules to dealers, EPCs and government buyers nationwide, and ships to export markets from the same Bengaluru plant.

Sun Zone Solar Systems
Padmanabh S T founds Sun Zone Solar Systems with his younger brother, manufacturing solar water heaters from a plant at Tavarekere, Bengaluru. It remains one of the leading solar water heater manufacturers in the region today.

Innovative begins
Innovative starts in parallel as an LED lighting manufacturer, then expands into solar PV module manufacturing near Ambedkar College Circle, where all three plants were set up.

The decision
All in on PV
To focus completely on photovoltaics, the founder withdraws from the Sun Zone partnership and puts everything behind Innovative. The module lines, the wattage range and the custom work all follow from that decision.

How long has Innovative Solar Solutions been in the solar industry?
Our founder, Padmanabh S T, entered solar manufacturing in 1999. Innovative itself began in 2012 and has been manufacturing solar PV modules in Bengaluru since, with more than 7,00,000 modules supplied to date.

At our plant at 102, C Shed, 2nd Main Road, Machohalli, Bapagrama, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560091.
Who does Innovative supply?
Dealers and distributors, EPC contractors, institutional and government buyers, large corporates and export customers in markets including Nepal, Africa and the United States. We supply modules alone, complete balance of system, or turnkey projects.
What certifications does the company hold?
Our modules are BIS certified to IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 Part 1 and Part 2. We also hold ISO 9001:2015, MSME (Udyam) registration, CE for applicable products, and a GeM listing. Copies of certificates are issued to dealers, project customers and tender buyers on request.
